You will not find any photos taken like this, with more than 20 Alaskan malamutes traveling in one of the most treacherous regions in Alaska. Due to deep snow and rough terrain, it was believed impossible for a dogteam to travel there.

But it’s more than that; I raised each dog from birth, and every dog brings back memories of their lives, our adventures, and our time together. Many of the dogs in the photos will join me on upcoming expeditions.

 After 40 years of exploring Alaska’s Arctic wilderness by dog team, I’ve come to realize how extraordinary these dogs are. Never in recorded history has a team of more than 20 dogs successfully traveled through these regions, as shown in the images. 

Witnessing them achieve such incredible feats that were once thought impossible has been a remarkable experience, and it has shown me that with faith, nothing is truly impossible.
