The Caretaker/Dog Handler
Our kennel is like a living organism, each cell striving and thriving because everything works harmoniously. The caretaker of our kennel of 42 Alaskan malamutes is an integral member of our team. He or she, first and foremost, loves dogs, which sets a peaceful tone in the kennel.
Dogs have uncanny intuition, or a scent of our hormones, which exhibit our love, anger, or dislike. This is scientifically proven, so we can’t hide how we feel. I am always amazed at how dogs react to different individuals. Our dogs ' behaviors reflect this love for nature, dogs, and God’s creatures. They naturally become more relaxed and pleasantly happy around people with nothing to hide. This takes us to our present volunteer or caretaker, Nathan, who exhibits immense love and trust for the dogs I speak of.
