Coming soon!!

Finally snow!! It’s been a tough year so far, folks. We haven’t received much snow; however, the training must go on. You might be surprised that I’m not talking about training dogs, but myself.

Usually by this time of year, I’m cross-country skiing for 2-3 hours as part of my training run with the dogs, but believe it or not, I’m still cycling on my mountain bike.

If I can’t keep up, or even ahead of the team, in skis or snowshoes for at least 5 hours a day, make and break camp, harness and unharness 22 dogs, gather firewood, cook, and perform all the other necessary chores to survive in the Arctic, I’m toast!

I mean, I have to be able to run a marathon every day and a CrossFit workout!!

I will be introducing four new faces to our team, all of whom are rookies and have been with us for over two years. I’m really looking forward to getting these boys in harnesses and letting them do what they are born to do, and loving it. Stay tuned!! If you want to join our community where I will be posting updates during my upcoming expedition please follow the link below. Thanks! God bless!!
